I WASN'T ALWAYS THIS BOLD
If you're new here, I’m JL Hicks, and I own Me Times 2, a lifestyle management company, and Remedy, a hospice care company. I also teach people how to turn their everyday tasks into everyday cash. But trust me, my path to get here? It was anything but easy.
What you see now—the confidence, the business success, the freedom—is the result of a journey that tested me in ways I never expected. There were times I was living out of my car. Times I was adopting three kids and raising four as a single parent. Times I had to push through challenges that came with pain, trauma, and uncertainty. But through it all, I found me—the real me. I learned what makes me thrive, what makes me uncomfortable, and what fuels my purpose.
That’s why I’m sharing my story, through my book and my work. Because I know I’m not the only one who’s been through the fire. And if my journey can help someone else step into their own power, then every struggle was worth it.
